The Jolly Farmers Reigate

Home

The award winning Jolly Farmers Deli Pub & Restaurant is widely recognised as the UK’s first deli-pub and offers a unique combination of pub, restaurant with an integrated delicatessen / farm shop, showcasing the very best of local and regional produce.

Situated on the main A25 just outside Reigate, towards Dorking, the ease of access makes this site a must see on any visit to the area at any time of the day.

We open at 9.15 every day making it perfect for breakfast (served Saturday and Sunday), morning coffee, lunch, cream teas, dinner or just to grab a few essentials from the shop to enjoy at home.

Although modern in feel and style, the pub has beautiful wooden floors, real fires, comfy seating, delightful separate restaurant, and a terrace garden perfect for al-fresco dining.

Throughout the year there are a number of interesting events from farmers markets to beer festivals, with the common thread that all produce is grown, produced or brewed within the region.  As such, the offering is guided somewhat by the seasons, much in the way our nation’s fabulous inns and coaching houses were in years gone by – whatever’s being harvested is incorporated in to the menu. Simple.

“The sign outside says The Jolly Farmers is a deli-pub, but that’s only the half of it. It’s really a café-fromagerie-lounge-off-licence-charcuterie-bistro-snack bar-pâtisserie-restaurant-pub. The complete opposite, in fact, of the old-fashioned boozer, which was the centre of the universe for a small community of blokes. Instead of being everything to a few, this pub is all things to all men – and women…..So it’s still a local, really, just a different, 21st-century sort.”  The Saturday Telegraph

This is a truly “Great British Pub” and worth celebrating on any occasion.

We look forwards to welcoming you in soon…Jon and Paula Briscoe
